INTERNAL AUDITOR TRAINING ON IATF 16949:2016

KIM LONG Motors and Intertek Vietnam jointly organized a training course on "Internal Auditor Training on IATF 16949:2016" for our management staff, quality management specialists and production department heads on May 3-4, 2024. The aim of the course was to assess and improve the effectiveness of the IATF 16949:2016 quality management system in production activities.

The "Internal Auditor Training on IATF 16949:2016" program

The training program was conducted by Mr. Ho Thanh Tam, an IATF assessment expert from Intertek Vietnam. The training content focused on key issues such as: general overview and approach to quality management, interpretation of IATF 16949:2016 standards; conducting, evaluating results, implementing improvements... and specific case studies

IATF 16949:2016 (replacing ISO/TS 16949:2009) is a set of requirements for quality management systems that includes specific requirements for the automotive industry. It is issued by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and the Japan Automotive Manufacturers Association (JAMA) with the support of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

The "Internal Auditor Training on IATF 16949:2016" course was designed to meet practical requirements and provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to assess quality management systems, production processes, products, and the competence and skills of the staff directly involved in the production process.

Effective implementation of the internal audit process will contribute to improving the effectiveness and promoting continuous improvement of the Quality Management System according to IATF 16949:2016, control variation and prevent errors from the outset, thereby contributing to waste reduction and product quality improvement of the enterprise.

The "Internal Auditor Training on IATF 16949:2016" course is a practical activity that contributes to improving the capacity of the monitoring and internal auditing team and perfecting the IATF 16949:2016 quality management system at the factories and workshops of the KIM LONG Motors Production Complex.
