KIM LONG MOTOR HUE JOINT STOCK COMPANY (KIM LONG MOTOR) is the investor of the KIM LONG MOTOR Automobile, Parts & Components Production Complex Project, with a planned Phase 1 area of over 600 hectares. This project is a complex that includes multiple factories focused on automobile manufacturing and assembly, along with facilities for producing automotive engines, powertrains, and other automotive parts and components. The project also incorporates a bonded warehouse and plans to establish semiconductor and electronic chip manufacturing plants to support the growth of both the domestic and global automotive industries. TheKIM LONG MOTOR Automobile, Parts & Components Production Complex aims to become a leading regional center for automobile and auto parts production, targeting a localization rate of 80%–90% by the second quarter of 2026.
KIM LONG MOTOR is committed to becoming a market leader in both the quality and quantity of internal combustion vehicles and new energy vehicles, including electric buses and electric trucks (light, medium, and heavy), with a primary focus on exports. The company operates in the following fields: automobile manufacturing, assembly, and sales; production of automotive parts and components; and industrial park infrastructure business.
Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly:
KIM LONG MOTOR manufactures and assembles a full range of commercial and passenger vehicles, utilizing both internal combustion and new energy technology, with a focus on research and development of KIM LONG-branded buses, minibuses, and trucks. This foundation enables KIM LONG MOTOR to introduce products to the market such as the KIMLONG 99 sleeper bus, KIMLONG 99 seat bus, and various versions of the KIMLONG X9 minibus, offering efficient transportation solutions for businesses and safe, comfortable experiences for passengers.
Automotive Parts and Component Production:
KIM LONG MOTOR pioneers partnerships and joint ventures with leading global corporations to establish factories for engine manufacturing, powertrain production, and automotive parts to meet localization requirements for both KIM LONG MOTOR and domestic automotive companies. Among these partnerships, KIM LONG MOTOR and YUCHAI Group have signed a comprehensive strategic agreement for technology transfer and the construction of an engine manufacturing plant in Thua Thien Hue. Additionally, KIM LONG MOTOR has signed an agreement with DONGFENG DANA for technology transfer and exclusive distribution of DONGFENG-branded axles in Vietnam. These agreements are solid steps toward achieving KIM LONG MOTOR's strategic goals.
Automobile Sales:
KIM LONG MOTOR sells a full range of Commercial and Passenger vehicles from various brands. The company is systematically planning and developing a distribution network across provinces and cities according to a timeline and model tailored to regional market capacity and business characteristics. KIM LONG MOTOR enhances its competitive edge through products and services that meet diverse customer needs, ensuring effective operations across the entire value chain: Manufacturing – Distribution – Retail.
Industrial Park Infrastructure Business:
The KIM LONG MOTOR Automobile, Parts & Components Production Complex, covering 600 hectares in Phase 1, is located in the Chan May - Lang Co Economic Zone, Thua Thien Hue, one of Vietnam’s top logistics locations. It offers easy connections to ASEAN countries and numerous international destinations via the deep-water ports of Chan May (Thua Thien Hue), Tien Sa (Da Nang), Phu Bai International Airport, Da Nang International Airport, and an extensive rail and road network. The industrial park provides numerous incentives to support infrastructure leasing for businesses in auxiliary industries and automotive parts manufacturing, catering to both domestic and international companies.
