In his opening remarks, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong – Vice Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee – emphasized the city’s strategic vision. This is seen as the inevitable path to both economic development and preservation of Hue’s unique cultural and environmental values.

In the first six months of 2025, the city’s GRDP grew by 9.39%, with the target of reaching double-digit growth for the whole year. In its economic structure, industry-construction and services recorded positive growth, highlighted by clean and high-tech industrial projects. Notably, the KIM LONG MOTOR Hue Automobile Manufacturing and Assembly Industrial Park Project is expected to become a driving force in building an automotive industrial ecosystem, enhancing production capacity, technology transfer, and creating thousands of high-quality jobs.
