KIM LONG MOTOR HUE Joint Stock Company officially introduces the KIMLONG X9 minibus brand with various model options. Among them, the Standard version (16 seats) is priced at 739 million VND, providing an optimal solution for passenger transport, student and employee shuttles, short fixed-route passenger transport, and tourism services. Additionally, the vehicle line includes Limousine versions (10 seats, 12 seats) with high-end interiors and entertainment amenities, as well as Mini Van models to meet diverse customer demands.

Design: The KIMLONG X9 minibus is designed with a minimalist, compact style, ensuring flexible operation on narrow urban streets or city centers.

Name significance: KIMLONG represents the brand name for all commercial vehicles by KIM LONG MOTOR. The name X9 highlights innovation and distinction (X), while the number 9 symbolizes luck, prosperity, and success. KIMLONG X9 conveys not only the message of a modern vehicle with exceptional application in its segment but also a sense of pride as the first Vietnamese-branded minibus.

Product overview: KIMLONG X9 is developed on a Full Monocoque chassis (integrated body and frame) optimized for Vietnam's infrastructure and operational conditions, reducing vehicle weight while enhancing strength and safety.

• The engine features a 2,982 cc displacement, 150/3,100 Ps/rpm power, and maximum torque of 350/1,600–2,400 N.m/rpm, meeting Euro 5 emissions standards, offering powerful and durable performance.
• The vehicle is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a mechanical system for stable operation.
• The front suspension features an independent double-wishbone design with torsion bars, stabilizers, and hydraulic dampers. The rear suspension uses a dependent leaf spring system and hydraulic dampers for better load capacity and smooth operation under all traffic conditions.
• The minibus employs premium aluminum alloy rims, MICHELIN 215/75R16C tires, and a dual-line disc brake system with hydraulic operation, vacuum assistance, and ABS to optimize braking efficiency and ensure safe operation.

The KIMLONG X9 has overall dimensions of 6,050 x 1,880 x 2,340 mm, a wheelbase of 3,720 mm, and a ground clearance of 160 mm.

• The exterior: features an elegant design, with a chrome-accented horizontal grille. The aerodynamic cabin reduces air resistance, improving stability and performance. Lighting includes projector headlamps and horizontal LED daytime running lights, enhancing aesthetics and visibility. Integrated turn signal mirrors facilitate operation, while the rear features chrome accents and a lift-up tailgate for increased cargo space. The LED taillights improve illumination and warning efficiency.

• The interior: is customizable based on the model. The spacious driver’s cabin features a sporty dashboard design with bold lines. The control panel is fully equipped for easy monitoring and trip management. Seats are upholstered in leather, designed for comfort during extended journeys. The luggage compartment offers a leading capacity in its segment (2.4 m³), meeting transport needs effectively.

As part of the program, KIM LONG MOTOR hosted the KIMLONG X9 vehicle roll-out and delivery ceremony. According to signed contracts, KIM LONG MOTOR will supply 500 minibuses to strategic partners, including Phuong Trang Bus Company - FUTA Bus Lines and FUTA Transport - Hà Sơn, by December 2024. At the ceremony, the first 100 KIMLONG X9 minibuses were delivered, ready for year-end peak passenger transport demands.
